Portions of Chapman and Mills Streets and Victoria Road,
in the Borough of St. Kilda, exempted from the Provisions
of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a
Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of
August, 1937.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the St. Kilda Borough Council on the
twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-seven, viz.:-
"That the St. Kilda Borough Council, being the local
authority having control of the streets in the Borough of
St. Kilda, by resolution declares that the provisions of
section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works
Act, 1928, shall not apply to those portions of Chapman
and Mills Streets and Victoria Road fronting part Allot-
ments 11 and 12, Block 10, Allotments 1 and 2, Block 11,
Allotments 2 and part 1, Block 21, part of Allotments 2
and 4, Block 40, Allotments 3 and part 4, Block 49, L.T.P.
1407, Township of St. Kilda";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the portions
of Chapman Street, Mills Street, or Victoria Road (described
in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three
feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of street in the Otago Land District, Borough
of St. Kilda, known as Chapman Street, fronting parts Allot-
ments 11 and 12, Block X, and Allotment 1, Block XI,
L.T.P. 1407, Township of St. Kilda.
Also the north-eastern side of all that portion of street
situated in the said land district and borough, known as
Mills Street, fronting Allotment 2, Block XI, L.T.P. 1407,
Township of St. Kilda.
Also the north-western side of all those portions of street
situated in the said land district and borough, known as
Victoria Road, fronting part Allotment 11, Block X, Allot-
ments 1 and 2, Block XI, Allotment 2 and part Allotment 1,
Block XXI, parts Allotments 2 and 4, Block XL, and Allot-
ment 3 and part Allotment 4, Block XLIX, L.T.P. 1407,
Township of St. Kilda.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 96473, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Otorohanga County Council (hereinafter
called "the said local authority") proposes, pursuant
to the provisions of section three of the Main Highways
Amendment Act, 1928, to borrow the sum of one thousand
two hundred pounds (Β£1,200) by a loan to be known as "Main
Highways Loan, 1937" (hereinafter called "the said loan"),
for the purpose of paying the Council's share of the cost of
reconstructing the Mangati Bridge on the Pirongia-Kawhia
Main Highway:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government
Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine
