Transmitting and Receiving Officers for the Service of Notices by Telegraph.

Wellington, 15th July, 1937.
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and by the regulations made on the 12th May, 1914, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 21st May, 1914, the following officer, at the address set against his name, is hereby appointed Transmitting and Receiving Officer for the purpose of dealing with all notices by telegraph sent under the said Act or regulations, and of signing such certificates in relation to the service of any such notices as are required or authorized to be signed or given under the said Act or the regulations aforesaid :—

Administration of Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, in Ohinemuri County.—(Notice No. Ag. 3488.)

THE following resolution passed by the Ohinemuri County Council on the 8th day of July, 1937, is published in accordance with the provisions of section 7 (2) of the Noxious Weeds Amendment Act, 1934.
RESOLUTION.
THAT the Ohinemuri County Council agrees to assume responsibility for the administration of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, and amendments thereof, within the Ohinemuri County as provided for by sections 7 and 8 of the Noxious Weeds Amendment Act, 1934, as from the 1st August, 1937, and hereby appoints Mr. Leon Edward Shaw, of Paeroa, as an Inspector under that Act.

I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from C. A. Anderson for a license to take fish at Riverton by means of a 28 ft. 6 in. motor-launch using hand-lines.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 12th August, 1937.
