Excluding Streets and Roads from Limitation as to Speed imposed by the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, Section 3.
IN terms of section 3 of the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, I, Henry Greathead Rex Mason, acting for the Minister of Transport, do hereby exclude the streets and roads described in the Schedule hereto from the limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.
SCHEDULE.
Situated within Eltham Borough—
Auckland-Wellington via Taranaki Main Highway No. 1 (all that portion from the northern boundary of Eltham Borough to the junction of the main highway with Moir Street, a distance of approximately 38 chains; and all that portion from the junction of the main highway with Conway Road to the southern boundary of Eltham Borough, a distance of approximately 67 chains).
Eltham-Rawhitiroa Main Highway No. 39 (all that portion from the junction of the main highway with Kegworth Street to the eastern boundary of Eltham Borough, a distance of approximately 51 chains).
Situated within Kaponga Town District—
Opunake-Eltham Main Highway No. 39 (all that portion from the western boundary of Kaponga Town District to a point 5 chains measured along the road in a westerly direction from the Kaupokonui Stream Bridge, a distance of approximately 20 chains; and all that portion from the eastern boundary of Kaponga Town District to a point 5 chains measured along the road in an easterly direction from the junction of the main highway with Kaponga Street, a distance of approximately 21 chains).
Mania - Mount Egmont Radius-line Main Highway No. 41 (all that portion from the southern boundary of Kaponga Town District to the junction of the main highway with Old Cemetery Road, a distance of approximately 10 chains).
Situated within Manaia Town District—
Lepperton Junction - Hawera via Opunake Main Highway No. 36 (all that portion from the western boundary of Manaia Town District to the junction of the main highway with Kaipi Street, a distance of approximately 10 chains; and all that portion from the junction of the main highway with Hassard Street to the eastern boundary of Manaia Town District, a distance of approximately 20 chains).
Manaia - Mount Egmont Radius-line Main Highway No. 41 (all that portion from the junction of the main highway with Karaka Street to the northern boundary of Manaia Town District, a distance of approximately 10 chains).
Sutherland Road (all that portion from the southern boundary of Manaia Town District to the junction of Sutherland Road with Kauae Street, a distance of approximately 10 chains).
Situated within Opunake Borough—
Lepperton Junction - Hawera via Opunake Main Highway No. 36 (all that portion from the western boundary of Opunake Borough to the junction of the main highway with Heaphy Street, a distance of approximately 33 chains; and all that portion from the junction of the main highway with Layard Street to the eastern boundary of Opunake Borough, a distance of approximately 27 chains).
Situated within Patea Borough—
Auckland-Wellington via Taranaki Main Highway No 1 (all that portion from the northern boundary of Patea Borough to a point 5 chains measured along the road in a northerly direction from the junction of the main highway with Hadfield Street, a distance of approximately 45 chains).

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Borough of South Invercargill.
Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 27th July, 1937.
IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be excluded from the Borough of South Invercargill and included in the City of Invercargill. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the western boundary of the Borough of South Invercargill where the southern side of Kew Road joins the said boundary; thence in an easterly direction along the said southern side of Kew Road to Elles Road South; thence again in a southerly direction along the western side of Elles Road South to a point in line with the southern side of Vernon Street; thence again in an easterly direction across Elles Road South and along the said southern side of Vernon Street to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 68, Block I, Town of Seaward Bush; thence in a northerly direction across Vernon Street to and along the western boundary of the said Section 68 to the north-west corner thereof; thence in an easterly direction along the northern boundary of the said Section 68 to the south-western corner of Section 36, Block I, Town of Seaward Bush; thence again in a northerly direction along the western boundary of the said Section 36, across McQuarry Street, and along the western boundary of part Section 31 and that line produced to the southern side of Moulson Street the boundary of the Borough of South Invercargill, Gazette, 1928, page 413; thence in a north-westerly, southerly, westerly, and again southerly direction along the said boundary of the Borough of South Invercargill to the point of commencement.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable grounds for supposing that the organization and person whose names and addresses are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said organization or person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said organization or person (either by its or her own or any fictitious or assumed name), or directed to the respective addresses mentioned in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and by the regulations made on the 12th May, 1914, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 21st May, 1914, the following officers, at the addresses set against their names, are hereby appointed Transmitting and Receiving Officers for the purpose of dealing with all notices by telegraph sent under the said Act or regulations, and of signing such certificates in relation to the service of any such notices as are required or authorized to be signed or given under the said Act or the regulations aforesaid:—
