A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown
land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown
land: 1 acre 2 roods 36 perches.
Being portion of Motuihi Island.
Situated in Block XIII, Rangitoto Survey District (Auck-
land R.D.). (S.O. 28959.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
95868, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued

vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to
be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown

Being Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 on Deeds Plan 789, being part
Subdivision E, Heretaunga Block.
Situated in the Borough of Hastings.
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more

deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.

under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of

Land set apart as an Endowment for Primary Education.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924,
I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised
in the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule
hereto, being land which is adjacent to the endowment for
primary education described in the Second Schedule hereto,
shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District,
Whangarei County, containing by admeasurement 3 roods
38 perches, more or less, being Allotment 169, Parish of
Maungatapere. As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. 20/72A, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plan 27191, blue.)
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District,
Whangarei County, containing by admeasurement 123 acres
3 roods 35 perches, more or less, being portion of Allotment
94A, Parish of Maungatapere, and being the residue of the
land contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 685, folio 2
(Auckland Registry). As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 20/72B, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of
June, 1937.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908
(hereinafter referred to as “ the said Act ”), has recommended
that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be
permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient
to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said
Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the
said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 17 (formerly part Raetihi 5B No. 3 Block), Block I,
Karici Survey District: Area, 113 acres 1 rood 28 perches,
more or less.
Section 7, Block IV, Makotuku Survey District: Area,
1 acre 0 roods 30·53 perches, more or less.
Section 8, Block IV, Makotuku Survey District: Area,
1 acre 1 rood 11·46 perches, more or less.
Section 9, Block IV, Makotuku Survey District: Area,
9 acres 2 roods 20·73 perches, more or less.
Section 10, Block IV, Makotuku Survey District: Area,
8 acres 2 roods 22·97 perches, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of
June, 1937.
