Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve
in the Hawke’s Bay Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is portion of a reserve duly set apart for scenic
purposes :
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic
purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value
thereon :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section
eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do
hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the
land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 24 (formerly part Section 1), Block IV, Puketapu
Survey District: Area, 1 acre 0 roods 20 perches, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of
June, 1937.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto
as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND FOREST-
CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area of Crown land in the Southland Land District
containing approximately 2,080 acres, situated in Block VI,
Mokoreta Survey District, and bounded generally as follows :
Towards the south by a provisional State forest (Gazette,
1924, page 2243), Block XI, Mokoreta Survey District ;
towards the west and north-west by Runs 161A and 161 ;
and towards the east by a provisional State forest (Gazette,
1921, page 2617, and Gazette, 1927, page 1467), situated in
Rimu Survey District (Otago Land District). As the same
is more particularly delineated on plan No. 217/6, deposited
in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of
June, 1937.

Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
set apart the provisional State forest described in the Schedule
hereto as a permanent State forest.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND FOREST-
CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Southland Land District containing
approximately 5,120 acres, being part of Provisional State
Forest No. 47 (Gazette, 1924, page 2243—ordinary provisional
State forest), situated in Blocks XI and XIV, Mokoreta
Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards
the north by Crown land situated in Block VI, Mokoreta
Survey District ; towards the east by provisional State
forest (Gazette, 1921, page 2617, and Gazette, 1927, page 1467),
situated in Rimu Survey District (Otago Land District) ;
towards the south-west by the bush-edge ; and towards the
west by a right line running due north and passing through a
point 100 chains due east of Trig. Station F.F. As the same
is more particularly delineated on plan No. 217/6, deposited
in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of
June, 1937.

west by Run 161A ; towards the north-east and south-west by
the bush-edge ; again towards the north-west by Run 161A ;
towards the east by Provisional State Forest No. 47 (Gazette,
1924, page 2243) ; towards the south by the bush-edge and
Sections 9 and 11, Block XIII, Mokoreta Survey District ;
again towards the east by Section 11 aforesaid ; again
towards the south by Sections 10 and 12, Block XIII afore-
said ; and again towards the south-west by the bush-edge ;
save and excepting an intersecting public road. As the same
is more particularly delineated on plan No. 217/6, deposited
in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.

General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of

admeasurement 245 acres, more or less, and being Sections
17 and 27, Block XII, Tautuku Survey District. As the
same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 218/1,
deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of
June, 1937.
