Land taken for the Purposes of a Roadman’s Cottage in Block VII, Ohinewairua Survey District, Rangitikei County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a roadman’s cottage, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangitikei as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 5 acres.
Being Section 1, Motukawa No. 2 Block.
Situated in Block VII, Ohinewairua Survey District. (S.O. 71/49.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 17665, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of June, 1937.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Public School in Block I, Invercargill Hundred, Southland County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Southland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 acres 2 roods 13 perches.
Being portion of Lot 2, D.P. 2285, being part Sections 4 and 5 and closed road.
Situated in Block I, Invercargill Hundred (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 29/117.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95494, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of June, 1937.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a gravel-pit; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 14 acres 2 roods 35 perches.
Being portion of Section 9.
Situated in Block IV, Mabel Hundred (Southland R.D.). (S.O. R676.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95633, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of June, 1937.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block V, Hunua Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the North Island Main Trunk Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
