Land taken for the Purposes of a Street at Rodrigo Road, in
the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a street, and shall
vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of
Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I
do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-seven.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :—

A. R. P. Being Portion of
0 0 0·70 Part Lot 10, D.P. 145, and being part
Section 5, Evans Bay R.D. ; coloured
blue.
0 0 0·64 Lot I, D.P. 4593, and being part Section 5,
Evans Bay R.D. ; coloured red.

Situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District
(City of Wellington). (S.O. 3196.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95757,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of
June, 1937.

Street-widening at the Corner of Clifton Terrace and Everton
Terrace, in the City of Wellington.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a
street, that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto
is hereby taken in connection with street-widening, and that
the said parcels of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors,
and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date
hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of
July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

Being portion of Section 457, Town of Wellington ; coloured
blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken in connection
with street-widening : 13·52 perches.

Being portion of Section 457, Town of Wellington ; coloured
yellow.

All situated in the City of Wellington. (S.O. 3189.)

All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
95353, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere
Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Domin-
ion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the street
described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby
declare the land comprised in the street closed, being ad-
jacent to the endowment described in the Second Schedule
hereto, to be added to the said endowment.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed : 26·7 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Waihi River bed and Lots 4
and 5, D.P. 7886, being part Reserve 755.

Situated in the Borough of Geraldine (Canterbury R.D.).
(S.P. 2416.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 93278,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

THAT endowment vested in the Geraldine Borough Council,
being Reserve 755, and mentioned in a notice dated 12th
December, 1884, published in the New Zealand Gazette No.
132 of 18th December, 1884, at page 1718, under section 38
of the Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1884.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of
June, 1937.
