I HEREBY give notice that by an order of the Supreme Court, Hamilton, dated the 3rd day of March, 1937, I was appointed Administrator of the estate of the above-named Thomas Harrison; and I hereby call a meeting of creditors to be held at my office, Old Courthouse Buildings, Hamilton, on Wednesday, the 31st March, 1937, at 10.30 a.m. All claims against the above estate must be lodged with me on or before the 3rd May, 1937.

ESTATE OF HERBERT DOUGLAS KNIGHT.
In the matter of the Administration Act, 1908, and its amendments, and in the matter of the Estate of HERBERT DOUGLAS KNIGHT, formerly of Whakatane, but late of Levin, but now deceased.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand on the 18th day of March, 1937, pursuant to the powers in that behalf conferred upon him by section 62 of the above-mentioned Act, filed a certificate in the Supreme Court at Wellington electing to administer the above estate under Part IV of the said Act, and that the said estate will, as from the said date, be administered, realized, and distributed in accordance with the law and practice of bankruptcy.
Notice is further given that I do hereby summon a meeting of creditors of the above estate to be held at the Public Trust Office, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Wednesday, the 31st day of March, 1937, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon.
Notice is finally given that all creditors, whether they have already submitted their claims or not, are required to prove their debts within the time and in the manner provided by the Bankruptcy Act, 1908. Proof-of-debt forms may be procured at my office.

In the matter of the Administration Act, 1908, and its amendments, and in the matter of the Estate of JOHN DAVID ENGELBRECHT, formerly of Christchurch, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, Farmer, but now deceased.
NOTICE is hereby given that a third dividend of 3d. in the pound is available on all ordinary claims proved and admitted against the above estate.

BRUCE COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Bruce County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,500 authorized to be raised by the Bruce County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing the Council’s share of the cost of constructing a bridge over the Clutha River at Clydevale, known as the Clydevale Bridge, the said Bruce County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all rateable property of the County of Bruce comprising the whole of the said county, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of five years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the shareholders of the above company held on the 15th day of March, 1937, the following special resolutions were passed:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily in pursuance of section 226 of the Companies Act, 1933.”
“That DUDLEY NORTON CHAMBERS, of Chambers, Worth, and Chambers, Public Accountants, of Auckland, be appointed liquidator for the purpose of winding up the company.”
“That the liquidator be authorized to distribute the assets of the company out in cash or kind.”
This company should not be confused with M.K. Millinery, Limited. The M.K. Millinery Manufacturing Company, Limited, is a private company. M.K. Millinery, Limited, is a public company which was formed some time back to take over the business previously carried on by the private company.
Any person having any claim against the company is requested to forward full particulars of his claim to the liquidator within seven days from date hereof, otherwise he may be excluded from any distribution of the assets of the company.
