to be Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at Oruanui, as from the 1st day of February, 1937.

to be Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at Tuparoa, as from the 1st day of February, 1937.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman, Te Awamutu Electric-power Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.

TE AWAMUTU ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
PURSUANT to section 13 (1) of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Harapepe - Te Pahu Special-rating Area taken on the 2nd day of March, 1937, on the proposal of the Te Awamutu Electric-power Board to borrow the sum of £8,000 for constructing and erecting transmission-lines, transformer-stations, and all fittings and appliances for conveying, transmitting, or distributing electricity (including the purchase of all necessary land, buildings, material, plant, and tools, and all payments for labour, engineers’ services, plans and supervision, and for compensation to owners of property), and for purchasing motors, electric wires, lamps, fittings, machinery, and equipment, and installing the same on or in public or private land or buildings for the benefit of the Harapepe - Te Pahu Special-rating Area—

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Wellington taken on the 24th day of February, 1937, on the proposal of the Wellington City Council to borrow the sum of £200,000 for alterations and improvements to sewerage system—

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
Proposal to raise a Special Loan for Aerodrome Extension at Rongotai of £70,000.
Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Wellington taken on the 24th day of February, 1937, on the proposal of the Wellington City Council to borrow the sum of £70,000 for aerodrome extension—

Proposal to raise a Special Loan for Cemeteries of £8,000.
Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Wellington taken on the 24th day of February, 1937, on the proposal of the Wellington City Council to borrow the sum of £8,000 for cemeteries—

Proposal to raise a Special Loan for Branch Libraries of £15,000.
Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Wellington taken on the 24th day of February, 1937, on the proposal of the Wellington City Council to borrow the sum of £15,000 for branch libraries—

Proposal to raise a Special Loan for Improvements for Gardens, Reserves, and Beaches of £20,000.
Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Wellington taken on the 24th day of February, 1937, on the proposal of the Wellington City Council to borrow the sum of £20,000 for improvements for gardens, reserves, and beaches—

I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
Proposal to raise a Special Loan for Street-works, Drainage, and Waterworks of £28,500.
Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Wellington taken on the 24th day of February, 1937, on the proposal of the Wellington City Council to borrow the sum of £28,500 for street-works, drainage, and waterworks—
