N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.
James Kennedy Elliott, M.B., F.R.C.S. Eng., to be Lieutenant, and is posted to the 2nd Field Ambulance. Dated 28th January, 1937.

Lieutenant-Colonel J. R. Cade, M.C., v.d., is posted to the Retired List with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 15th February, 1937.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following appointments, promotions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Military Forces :-
STAFF AND COMMANDS.
Major E. T. Rowllings, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointments of Staff Officer-in-Charge No. 5 Regimental District and Brigade Major, 2nd N.Z. Mounted Rifles Brigade, dated 31st January, 1937, and is appointed Assistant Adjutant-General, G.H.Q., Wellington, dated 1st February, 1937.
Major A. E. Conway, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Staff Officer-in-Charge No. 8 Regimental District, New Plymouth, dated 31st January, 1937, and is appointed Staff Officer-in-Charge No. 5 Regimental District and Brigade Major, 2nd N.Z. Mounted Rifles Brigade, Wellington, dated 1st February, 1937.
Major S. H. Crump, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Deputy Adjutant and Quartermaster-General, G.H.Q., dated 31st January, 1937, and is appointed Assistant Quartermaster-General, G.H.Q., and retains the appointment of Officer-in-Charge Army Service Corps, dated 1st February, 1937.
Captain F. I. Hunt, N.Z. Staff Corps, is appointed Staff Officer-in-Charge (temp.) No. 8 Regimental District, New Plymouth, in addition to his present appointments. Dated 1st February, 1937.
The period of command of Lieutenant-Colonel S. G. Scoular, A.D.C., 3rd Artillery Brigade Group and 3rd Field Brigade, N.Z.A., is extended to 10th February, 1938.
ROYAL N.Z. AIR FORCE.
Flight Lieutenant M. W. Buckley, M.B.E., is granted the temporary rank of Squadron Leader. Dated 18th January, 1937.
THE WAIKATO MOUNTED RIFLES.
Lieutenant J. R. S. Sealy, from the Hauraki Regiment, to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 15th March, 1935. Dated 21st November, 1936.
REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.
The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 5, dated 21st January, 1937, relative to the promotion of 2nd Lieutenants E. F. Bellman and R. P. Kennedy is hereby cancelled, and the following substituted—
"The undermentioned 2nd Lieutenants, 15th Coast Battery to be Lieutenants. Dated 23rd August, 1936 :-
R. P. Kennedy.
E. F. Bellman."
Harry Cowley Bliss to be 2nd Lieutenant and is posted to the 9th Field Battery. Dated 27th August, 1936.
THE HAURAKI REGIMENT.
Lieutenant J. R. S. Sealy ceases to be attached to and is transferred to the Waikato Mounted Rifles. Dated 21st November, 1936.
THE WELLINGTON WEST COAST REGIMENT.
Lieutenant N. A. Malcolm, 2nd Cadet Battalion, resigns his commission. Dated 8th February, 1937.
THE SOUTHLAND REGIMENT.
The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) A. R. Alexander, 1st Battalion, is confirmed.
N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.
Lieutenant J. P. McQuilkin, M.B., 3rd Field Ambulance, to be Captain. Dated 25th September, 1936.
George Raymond Kirk, M.B., to be Lieutenant, and is attached to the 12th Field Battery, N.Z.A. Dated 12th January, 1937.
Lieutenant C. M. Arthur, M.B., Otago University Medical Company, resigns his commission. Dated 13th January, 1937.
N.Z. CHAPLAINS DEPARTMENT.
The Rev. C. H. Olds, B.A., Chaplain, 2nd Class (Methodist), is transferred from R.D. 12 to R.D. 11. Dated 19th September, 1936.
