Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block XII, Uawa Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of February, 1937.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Kingston Survey District, described in the Schedule hereto.

Change of Name of “Waari Hamlet” to “Sunnyvale,” County of Waitemata.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it is considered expedient that the name of the locality known as “Waari Hamlet,” in the County of Waitemata, should be changed to “Sunnyvale” :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality known as “Waari Hamlet,” in the County of Waitemata, shall be and the same is hereby altered to “Sunnyvale,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such locality accordingly; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1936.

Revoking in Part a Proclamation setting apart Lands in the Westland Land District for Lease as a Village Settlement under Part IV of the Land Act, 1892.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section five of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, the Proclamation dated the fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and five, and published in the Gazette of the ninth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and five, at page 662, setting apart lands for lease as a village settlement under Part IV of the Land Act, 1892.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.—RUNANGA VILLAGE SETTLEMENT.

Borough of Runanga.—Block III, Cobden Survey District.
Section 17, Block XL: Area, 1 rood.
Section 18, Block XL: Area, 1 rood.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of February, 1937.

Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road in Block V, Waiawa Survey District, Gisborne Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto traverses Native land and has been used by the public as a public road :
And whereas the Native Land Court, by an order made on the sixteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and issued pursuant to section four hundred and eighty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, ordered and declared the said road to be a public road :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931 :
