| A PROCLAMATION. | A PROCLAMATION. |
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the New Zealand Government Railways to take land in the Borough of Akaroa for railway purposes : | IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section eleven of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned. |

Part of R.S. 216, Canterbury Registration District, Borough of Akaroa. (S.O. S.P. 2437.) | Being portion of Section 14.
In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4342, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. | Situated in Block I, Kingston Survey District. (S.O. R667.)
In the Southland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 93657, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. |
