WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work—namely, the laying off and establishment of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken:

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk to the said Council situate in Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours:

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice—namely, the 26th day of November, 1936—to the clerk of the said county at the County Offices, Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of The Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of The Scott Timber Company, Limited (in Voluntary Liquidation), (old company).

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at the office of The Scott Timber Company, Limited (new company), Cable Street, Wellington, on Friday, the 18th day of December, 1936, at 2.30 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.
