Defining Limits of the Harbour of Bay of Islands.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in me vested by the sixth section of the Harbours Act, 1923, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby define the limits of the Harbour of Bay of Islands to be all that area of tidal waters bounded as follows: Commencing at high-water mark of ordinary spring tides at the northern extremity of Cape Wiwiki; thence by a right line to the eastern extremity of the Nine-pin; thence by a right line to the north-western extremity of Cape Brett at high-water mark of ordinary spring tides; thence generally along high-water mark of ordinary spring tides to the commencing-point.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 1st day of December, 1936.
