Land in the Westland Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land:

And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the Schedule hereto (being land heretofore held on a license issued under the regulations for the occupation of pastoral lands within the Karamea and Westland Mining Districts) has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said lands should cease to be national-endowment land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.

SCHEDULE.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 3707, Block I, Kaniere Survey District: Area, 480 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of November, 1936.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land:

SCHEDULE.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 1055, Block VIII, Waitaha Survey District: Area, 125 acres 3 roods 9 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of November, 1936.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 4, Block XV, Tauakira Survey District: Area: 1,888 acres, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of November, 1936.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 4,341 acres, more or less, bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Waiharakeke East No. 1A Block; thence towards the north-east generally by State forest (Gazette, 1935, page 3572) and Maurihoro B Block; towards the north generally by Maurihoro B Block; again towards the north-east generally by State forest aforesaid; towards the south-east and south generally by Lot 1 on plan No. 5156, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, part Okauia No. 1 Block and Section 11 (Scenic Reserve), Block XI, Wairere Survey District; towards the west generally by Sections 7, 6, the abutment of a public road, again Section 6, Sections 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, all of Block XI, Wairere Survey District, Section 9, a public road, again Section 9, Sections 10 and 11 of Block X, Wairere Survey District, Sections 21, 28, 26, 17, 16, the abutment of a public road, and Section 29, all of Block VII, Wairere Survey District; and towards the north-west generally by Waiharakeke East No. 1c 2b 2 and No. 1A Blocks to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 300D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of November, 1936.
