Delegating Powers under the Cemeteries Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of October, 1936.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Cemeteries Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby delegate to the Council of the Borough of Arrowtown the powers conferred upon him by section four of the said Act of appointing and removing trustees (including trustees heretofore appointed) in respect of the Arrowtown Cemetery as described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ARROWTOWN CEMETERY.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 0 roods 10 perches, more or less, being Sections 12 and 13, Block XIX, Town of Arrowtown; Section 12 (area, 1 acre 2 roods) bounded towards the north-west by a public road, 300 links; towards the north-east by Durham Street, 500 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 300 links; and towards the south-west by Section 11, 500 links. Section 13 (area, 2 roods 10 perches) bounded towards the north-west by a public road, 300 links; towards the north-east by Durham Street, 187 links; towards the south-east by Section 10, 300 links; and towards the south-west by Section 11, 187 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked 191/2/556, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Health, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Cancelling the Reservation over Part of a Reserve in Blocks I and II, Burke Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of October, 1936.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for plantation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 529 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, being part Reserve 2918, situated in Blocks I and II, Burke Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east and south-east generally by a public road, 3188·6, 1366·4, 663·9, and 1023·3 links; towards the south-west, south-east, and north-east by other part of Reserve 2918, 623·7, 1090, 2683, and 1118·4 links; again towards the south-east by the aforesaid public road, 1396·9, 2454·8, and 443·6 links; again towards the south-west by Run 75A, 7694·2 links; and towards the north-west by Reserve 3864, 10887·7 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 7217B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Winton Hundred, Southland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of October, 1936.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for a quarry and accommodation-house over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 67 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, being Sections 2 of 20, 3 of 20, and part 1 of 20, Block V, Winton Hundred: Bounded towards the north by a public road, 3116·3 and 586·4 links; towards the east by Section 42, Block IX, Winton Hundred, 1630·1 links; towards the south by a public road, 3536·3 links; and towards the west by the Invercargill–Kingston Railway, 1900·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 50155, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Cancelling the vesting of a Reserve in the Mackenzie County Council.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of October, 1936.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Mackenzie, in trust, for forestry purposes by virtue of section one hundred and thirty-four of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1922:

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Mackenzie have duly consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Mackenzie of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
