Declaring a Portion of Railway Land at Wellsford to be Crown
Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 rood 8Β·48 perches. Part railway land, Proclamation 2302 (part Sections 31), Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District, Rodney County. (S.O. 28645, blue.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 4334, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of September, 1936.

Crown Land set apart for Defence Purposes in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for defence purposes; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart : 2 roods 37Β·86 perches. Being portion of Section 2, Watts Peninsula District. Situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 132/31.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 80563, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of October, 1936.

Crown Land set apart for the Purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway (at Addington) in Block X, Christchurch Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway (at Addington); and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart : 9 acres 3 roods 27 perches. Being Crown land formerly transmission-line reserve, being portion Rural Sections 145, 180, 215, and 240. Situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (L.P. 1256.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 85121, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of October, 1936.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water-power (Lake Coleridge Scheme); and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.
