IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of DOMINION FLOOR SURFACING COMPANY, LIMITED.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at the office of Mr. H. N. Robieson, Solicitor, Bowen Street, Wellington, on Wednesday, the 16th day of September, 1936, the following special resolution was duly passed:—
“Resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that HOWARD NEVILLE ROBIESON, of Wellington, Solicitor, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”

THE OAMARU WOOLLEN FACTORY COMPANY, LTD.
IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at the office of G. G. Priest, Public Accountant, 49 Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North (one of the liquidators of the said company), on Tuesday, the 20th day of October, 1936, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having the final account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidators, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidators thereof shall be disposed of.

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the members of the Ferndale-Timaru Coal Company, Limited (in Liquidation), will be held at the office of Leggott and Allport, Public Accountants, A.M.P. Buildings (second floor), Timaru, on Wednesday, the 21st day of October, 1936, at 2 p.m., for the purpose of receiving the liquidator’s account of the winding up of the company.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between CHARLES ALEXANDER KIDD, CHARLES NORMAN KIDD, and NOEL ALFRED KIDD, carrying on business as butchers at Pukekohe under the firm name of “Kidd Bros.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of August, 1936, so far as concerns the said Charles Norman Kidd who retires from the said firm.
All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said Charles Alexander Kidd and Noel Alfred Kidd who will continue to carry on the said business in partnership under the firm name of “Kidd Bros.”

ASHBURTON COUNTY COUNCIL AND
ASHBURTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1935.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Ashburton County Council, acting jointly with the Ashburton Borough Council, proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of an aerodrome—and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the cottage situated at the Ashburton County Saleyards and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during the hours of from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on week-days: All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land, set forth their objections in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Clerk of the Ashburton County Council.
SCHEDULE.
Approximate area of the parcel of land required to be taken: 42 acres 3 roods 11 perches, situated in the Ashburton Survey District, being part Rural Section 25108, Blocks XIII and XIV, Lot 2, Deposited Plan 9711, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Vol. 427, folio 152.

WARKWORTH TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Warkworth Town Hall Extension and Municipal Offices
Loan, £3,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Warkworth Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,000 authorized to be raised by the Warkworth Town Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of enlarging the Warkworth Town Hall to a seating-capacity of 750, fitting up hall for the dual purposes as a picture-theatre and hall, and erecting municipal offices and conveniences, the said Warkworth Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 11/16d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the whole of the Warkworth Town District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Warkworth Town Board at a meeting held on the 21st day of September, 1936.

In the matter of section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of CARLSONS LIMITED (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed by the above company on the 14th day of September, 1936:—
“That the company go into voluntary liquidation, and that Mr. R. D. Brown, Public Accountant, Hastings, be appointed liquidator, such liquidation to be a ‘creditors’ voluntary winding up.’”
Confirmed at meeting of creditors held on 24th September, 1936.
