The undermentioned 2nd Lieutenants to be Lieutenants:—
G. A. Ball, 3rd Cadet Battalion. Dated 1st December, 1935.
E. Cumming, 1st Cadet Battalion. Dated 22nd May, 1936.

2nd Lieutenant A. J. Gibson, 2nd Cadet Battalion, resigns his commission. Dated 14th September, 1936.

THE HAWKE’S BAY REGIMENT.

Captain J. Leggat, from the Taranaki Regiment, to be Captain, with seniority from 10th September, 1931, and is posted to the 1st Cadet Battalion. Dated 10th September, 1936.
Coleman Follick to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) and is posted to the 1st Cadet Battalion. Dated 9th September, 1936.

THE TARANAKI REGIMENT.

Captain J. Leggat, 1st Cadet Battalion, is transferred to the Hawke’s Bay Regiment. Dated 10th September, 1936.

THE CANTERBURY REGIMENT.

Lieutenant I. H. Skipworth ceases to be posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion, and is posted to the 6th Cadet Battalion. Dated 17th September, 1936.

THE NELSON, MARLBOROUGH, AND WEST COAST REGIMENT.

The undermentioned are transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b):—
Captain R. E. Agar, 1st Battalion, R.D. 9. Dated 8th September, 1936.
Lieutenant J. Nicol, 2nd Cadet Battalion, R.D. 5. Dated 5th September, 1936.

N.Z. ARMY SERVICE CORPS.

Captain A. C. Dickson, 2nd Composite Company, to be Major. Dated 10th September, 1936.

N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.

Lieutenant N. W. Martin, M.B., Otago University Medical Company, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Southern Command. Dated 21st September, 1936.

Commissioner of the Supreme Court appointed.

NOTICE.

RONALD BRUCE WALKER, Esquire, of Sydney, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, has this day been appointed by the Hon. Sir John Reed, Acting Chief Justice of New Zealand, a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in New South Wales under the 47th section of the Judicature Act, 1908, for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

to be an Analyst for the purposes of the Fertilizers Act, 1927, as from the 1st day of September, 1936.
