HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following appointments, promotions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Military Forces :—

COMMANDS AND STAFF.

Hon. Colonel C. J. McKenzie relinquishes the appointment of Director of Works and the honorary rank of Colonel. Dated 21st July, 1936.

John Wood is appointed Director of Works and is granted the honorary rank of Colonel. Dated 22nd July, 1936.

Major A. C. Dickson, N.Z. Army Service Corps, is appointed to command the 2nd Composite Company. Dated 10th September, 1936.

N.Z. STAFF CORPS.

The appointments of the undermentioned Lieutenants (on probation) are confirmed. Dated 12th September, 1936 :—
