Classification of Street in Taradale Town District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Taradale Town Board’s proposed classification of the streets described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Taradale Town District.

SCHEDULE.

TARADALE TOWN DISTRICT.

STREETS classified in Class Two: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 8 tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 12 tons :—

Neave–Harpham Main Highway No. 541.

Classification of Roads in Masterton County.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Masterton County Council’s proposed alteration in the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Masterton County.

SCHEDULE.

MASTERTON COUNTY.

ROADS classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 10 tons :—

Wellington–Napier via Wairarapa Main Highway No. 15 (all that portion within the Masterton County).

Masterton–Castlepoint via Tinui Main Highway No. 64 (all that portion within the Masterton County).

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person (either by his own or any assumed or fictitious names), or addressed to the address in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee.

NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Vincent Jervis, of the Public Trust Office, Gisborne, to be Deputy of the District Public Trustee, Gisborne, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous warrants appointing any Deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.
