to be Clerk and Bailiff of the Magistrates’ Court at Kurow for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, as from the 11th day of August, 1936.

to be Clerk and Bailiff of the Magistrates’ Court at Matainui for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, as from the 14th day of August, 1936.

Piopio Development Scheme.
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 522 of the Native Land Act, 1931, the Board of Native Affairs hereby gives notice of its intention to apply the provisions of the said subsection to the land described in the Schedule hereto, and accordingly no owner may, except with the consent of the Board, exercise any rights of ownership so as to interfere with the carrying-out of any works under the said subsection.

Classification of Road in Waitaki County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Waitaki County Council’s proposed alteration in the classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Waitaki County.
SCHEDULE.
WAITAKI COUNTY.
ROAD classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 10 tons:—
Christchurch-Dunedin Main Highway No. 101 (all that portion within the Waitaki County).

Classification of Road in Pahiatua County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby revoke so far as it relates to the classification of Pah Valley Road the Warrant classifying roads in the Pahiatua County dated the 27th day of October, 1933, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 74 of the 2nd day of November, 1933, at page 2702, and do hereby declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Pahiatua County shall belong to the class of roads shown in the said Schedule.
