SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Wallace County.--Jacobs River Hundred.

(Exempt from payment of rent for two years.*)

SECTION 37, Block XIX : Area, 315 acres 3 roods 6 perches. Capital value, £315; half-yearly rent, £6 6s.

Situated on the west side of the Pourakino River, approximately ten miles from Riverton Township by fair gravelled road, about five miles from Waipango Post-office and School, and six miles from Aparima Dairy Factory. The area is undulating bush land from which milling-timber has been removed, and when cleared and grassed would be suitable for dairying and mixed farming. Altitude about 500 ft.

Special condition.--An area of about 25 acres formerly held under Ordinary Prospecting License by J. S. Harvey, and containing the Arethusa Reef and Darkeys Leader, also remains of small two-stamp battery partly situated in Section 37, is subject to resumption for mining without restriction, and the lessee shall have no right to compensation for such resumption.

*After payment of first half-year's rent no further rent will be payable for a period of two years.
