Districts constituted under the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor-General by the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration district known as the Birmingham District, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said district is hereby divided anew into two registration districts, the names whereof shall be the Rangiwhahia and Birmingham Districts, and the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908:

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of June, 1936.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Otira Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

All in the Westland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 90786, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 1 rood 11 perches.

Being portion of Pukahu Agricultural Section 54A ; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 1 rood 18 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Pukahu Agricultural Section 53 ; coloured green.

All situated in Block III, Te Mata Survey District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1106, green.)

All in the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91678, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of May, 1936.
