Increasing Number of Days on which Charges may be made for Admission to the Taihape Oval Domain.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty-three of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby increase the number of days which may be prescribed by the Taihape Oval Domain Board as days upon which charges may be made, pursuant to section twenty-one of the said Act, for admission to the domain described in the Schedule hereto, or to any part thereof set apart for a particular purpose, from twenty days to thirty days during the year ending the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.-TAIHAFE OVAL DOMAIN.

All that area containing 9 acres 3 roods 24 perches, more or less, being Block X, Township of Taihape, and formerly comprising portion of Taihape Domain.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 19th day of May, 1936.

COMMAND.

Major E. Elliott, 4th Field Battery, N.Z.A., relinquishes command of the Battery and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 1. Dated 28th April, 1936.

QUEEN ALEXANDRA'S (WELLINGTON WEST COAST) MOUNTED RIFLES.
Captain J. E. Stevens is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 10. Dated 4th May, 1936.
Lieutenant J. M. J. Hartwell to be Captain. Dated 4th May, 1936.

2nd Lieutenant N. L Berry to be Lieutenant. Dated 1st April, 1936.

THE OTAGO MOUNTED RIFLES.

REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.
Captain K. W. R. Glasgow, 3rd Artillery Brigade Group (Artillery Section, Otago Boys' High School Cadets), is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 11. Dated 1st May, 1936.
The undermentioned 2nd Lieutenants to be Lieutenants:- Dated 18th August, 1935- F. T. Scofield, 14th Medium Battery. G. M. Beaumont, 14th Medium Battery. J. G. Warrington, 12th Field Battery. Dated 24th August, 1935- J. F. R. Sprosen, 10th Field Battery.
The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) W. H. Thomson (Artillery. Section, Takapuna Grammar School Cadets) lapses. Dated 28th April, 1936.

THE AUCKLAND REGIMENT (COUNTESS OF RANFURLY'S OWN).
2nd Lieutenant I. S. Moore, 1st Battalion, to be Lieutenant. Dated 1st December, 1935. 2nd Lieutenant V. E. J. Wells, 1st Cadet Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 4. Dated 29th April, 1936.

THE WAIKATO REGIMENT.
The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) T. L. G. Johnson, 1st Cadet Battalion, lapses. Dated 28th April, 1936.

THE WELLINGTON WEST COAST REGIMENT.
Lieutenant W. A. Bryden, 2nd Cadet Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 5. Dated 7th May, 1936.

THE CANTERBURY REGIMENT.
Herbert Merle Sweney to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) and is posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion. Dated 22nd April, 1936.

THE SOUTHLAND REGIMENT.
Alick Robert Alexander to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 1st April, 1936.

N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.
Lieutenant M. L. R. Morley, M.B., ceases to be posted to the lst Field Ambulance. Dated 8th May, 1936.

N.Z. CHAPLAINS DEPARTMENT.
The Reverend E. B. Moore, Chaplain, 4th Class (Church of England), is transferred from R.D. 10 to R.D. 3. Dated 27th April, 1936.

RESERVE OF OFFICERS. Class I (a).
The undermentioned are posted to the Retired List with permission to retain their rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 7th May, 1936 :- Colonel R. Tracy-Inglis, C.B.E., v.d., M.B. Colonel H. R. Potter, C.M.G. Colonel D. Munro, v.d. Colonel A. T. Markman.

The Waikato Regiment.
Lieutenant W. E. Geissler is posted to the Retired List with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 29th April, 1936.

Member of Marlborough Land Board reappointed.
Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 16th May, 1936. NOTICE is hereby given that His Excellency the Governor General has, pursuant to section 49 of the Land Act, 1924, been pleased to reappoint John O'Dwyer to be a member of the Land Board of the Marlborough Land District for a further term of two years as from the 17th June, 1936.
