Board for the completion of banking work on the Manawatu River and banking of the Manawatu River at Hamilton's Bend, and any other banking deemed necessary on the Manawatu River in the No. 4 Separate Area of the Manawatu-Oroua River District: And whereas it has been ascertained that the said special rate of one penny and one-half of a penny per acre will not be sufficient to meet such interest, sinking fund, and other charges: Now, therefore, the Manawatu-Oroua River Board, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on the Board by section 23 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, hereby resolves that the said special rate of one penny and one-half of a penny per acre shall be and is hereby amended by increasing such amount of one penny and one-half of a penny per acre to one penny and three-fourths of a penny per acre.”

NOTICE is hereby given that I the undersigned WOLF RAY, of Christchurch, in the Dominion of New Zealand, Ladies’ Outfitter (heretofore or sometimes known as WOLF ROZENTAL), have by deed-poll dated the 7th day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and enrolled in the Supreme Court Office at Christchurch, renounced and abandoned my surname of “Rozental” and assumed and adopted the surname of “Ray” for all purposes whatsoever.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a special general meeting of the above-mentioned company held on the 4th day of May, 1936, the following special resolution was duly passed:—

“That the affairs of the N.Z. Motor Manufacturing Company, Limited, be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1933, relating to members’ voluntary winding up (sections 221 (1) (b) and 226 (1), (2), and (3)), and that MAXWELL RICHARD FRY, of Gisborne, Accountant, and REGINALD COSMO HUMPHREYS, of Gisborne, Cabinet-maker, be appointed liquidators at a fee to be resolved by members for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the said company.”
