Section 10, Block XIV: Area, 18 acres 3 roods. Capital
value, £190. Deposit on deferred payments, £10: Half-
yearly instalment on deferred payments: £5 17s. Renewable
lease: Half-yearly rent, £3 16s.

Loaded with £10 (to be paid in cash) for improvements
consisting of half value of 13½ chains of boundary-fence,
8 chains of hedge, and two-roomed shack.

This section is part of the Birdwood Block, about three
miles and a half from Henderson by formed and metalled
road for two miles and a half and clay road for one mile.
Land is undulating to broken, practically all ploughable.
Soil is of clay resting on sandstone; well watered by swampy
stream and springs. About 14½ acres is unimproved in tall
hakea and tea-tree with patches of gorse.
