Mining Privileges to be struck off the Register.

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of the provisions of section 188 (3) of the Mining Act, 1926, that, unless sufficient cause to the contrary is shown within three months from the date hereof, the mining privileges mentioned in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Register.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Lands in North Auckland Land District for Selection on Optional Tenures.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 13th May, 1936.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on optional tenures under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 15th June, 1936.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 17th June, 1936, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LANDS.

Waitemata County.—Waitemata Survey District.

SECTION 13, Block XIV: Area, 18 acres 1 rood 10 perches. Capital value, £220. Deposit on deferred payments, £10; Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £6 16s. 6d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £4 8s.

Weighted with the sum of £70 for improvements, consisting of a small building of two rooms, small shed, store-room, and fowlhouse, road and boundary fencing. This sum is payable in cash, or, after payment of a cash deposit of £20, balance may be paid by five annual instalments of £10 each, together with interest thereon at 5 per cent. per annum.
