I, HAROLD BEANLAND WALTON, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the undermentioned societies are no longer carrying on their operations, the said societies are hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908:—

NEW ZEALAND.—COOK STRAIT.—STEPHENS ISLAND.

Direction-finding Signals: Amended Times.

Previous Notice: No. 20 of 1935.
Position: Lat., 40° 40′ S.; long., 174° 01′ E. (approx.).
Details: The previous notice is to be amended in accordance with the following information:—

Signals are now sent at midnight, 4 a.m., 8 a.m., 8.40 a.m., noon, 3.40 p.m., 4 p.m., and 8 p.m., New Zealand time.

Requests should be made to ZLW before 8.30 a.m. for the 8.40 signals, before 11.30 for the noon signals, and before 3.30 p.m. for subsequent signals.

On Sundays the 8.40 a.m. signals will be sent at 9.25 a.m. Requests should be made before 9.20 a.m. for these and subsequent signals, including the 8 a.m. on the following morning.

Notice to Mariners No. 21 of 1936.

NEW ZEALAND.—WELLINGTON.

Time-signals: Alterations to Service.

Position: Lat., 41° 17′ S.; long., 174° 46′ E. (approx.).
Alterations: The 0900 G.M.T. time-signals from the Dominion Observatory through Wellington Radio, ZLW, and the exhibition of the green light from the signals at the observatory, will be discontinued on the 1st July.

Publications affected: Admiralty List of Wireless Signals, 1935, No. 6625; Admiralty List of Lights, Part VI, 1933, No. 5097; New Zealand Nautical Almanac and Tide-tables, pages 128 and 131.

Notice to Mariners No. 22 of 1936.

Marine Department,
Wellington, N.Z., 11th May, 1936.

NEW ZEALAND.—NORTH ISLAND.—TAURANGA HARBOUR.

Buoy and Beacons: General Amendments.

Position: Lat., 37° 39′; long., 176° 11′ E. (approx.).
Amendments: (1) No. 4 red buoy has been shifted to a position 313°, 1,600 ft. from Maketu Mound.
(2) A red buoy, No. 5, has been moored in a position 274°, 1,600 ft. from Maketu Mound.
(3) The red buoy in Stella Passage is now No. 6.
(4) The red beacon in position 353°, about 4·6 cables from Sulphur (Shooters) Point, has been demolished.
(5) The colour of the beacon in position 342°, about 5·9 cables from Sulphur Point, has been altered to white.
(6) A black spherical buoy is situated in a position 079°, 1,000 ft. from the light on Town Wharf.
(7) A red spherical buoy, marking the northern end of the yacht anchorage, is situated in a position 153°, 490 ft. from the light on Town Wharf.
