along the middle of that road to the north-western boundary of Section 3, Block IV, Hapuakohe Survey District, along that boundary and the north-eastern boundary of Section 1, Tainui Settlement, to the confiscation boundary-line; thence in a northerly direction generally along that line to Section 1, Block II, Piako Survey District; thence along the southern boundary of Section 1 aforesaid, the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 2 and the north-eastern boundary of Section 1, both of Block VIII, Wharekawa Survey District, to the confiscation boundary-line; thence along that line to the mouth of the Pukorokoro Creek; thence easterly along the sea-coast to the middle of the Waihou River, the place of commencement.
COUNTY OF WAIKATO.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing in the middle of the Waikato River at its confluence with the Whangamarino River; thence up the middle of the Whangamarino River, the Maramarua River, and the Matangi Stream to its intersection with the Mercer-Pukorokoro Road; thence easterly along the middle of that road to Allotment 82, Parish of Koheroa, and along the western and northern boundaries of that allotment to the Firth of Thames at the mouth of the Pukorokoro Creek; thence in a southerly direction generally along the confiscation boundary-line to Section 1, Block VIII, Wharekawa Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundary of Section 1 aforesaid, the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 2, Block VIII, Wharekawa Survey District, and the southern boundary of Section 1, Block II, Piako Survey District, to the confiscation boundary-line, and along that line to the northernmost point of Tahuroa No. 4 Block, Block IX, Maungakawa Survey District; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Tahuroa Nos. 4 and 3 Blocks aforesaid; thence south-easterly and north-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Lot 1 and the south-eastern boundaries of Lot 2 on plan 20705, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence south-easterly along the eastern boundaries generally of Tahuroa No. 1 Block, Sections 26s, 72s, and 71s, Te Miro Settlement, to the westernmost corner of Section 23s, Te Miro Settlement; thence along the western boundaries of Sections 23s and 24s, Te Miro Settlement, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the northern boundaries of Section 24s aforesaid and Kiwitahi Nos. 2E and 1D Blocks to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Kiwitahi Blocks Nos. 1D, 1E, and 1F, Te Konehu and Tawawhakapuoro Blocks, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of the Maungakawa Block and Sections 6s, 5s, and 3s, Te Miro Settlement, and the south-eastern boundary of the Sanatorium Reserve to the confiscation boundary-line; thence south-easterly along that line to the Opuaahu Trig. Station; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Section 8, Hautapu Parish, to the Karapiro Stream; thence down the Karapiro Stream to the eastern boundary of the Borough of Cambridge; thence northerly, westerly, and southerly along the borough boundaries to the middle of the Waikato River; thence down the middle of the Waikato River to a point in line with the eastern boundary of the Borough of Hamilton; thence to and along that boundary and the northern boundary of the borough to the middle of the Waikato River; thence down the middle of the Waikato River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of the Borough of Ngaruawahia; thence to and along the south-eastern, north-eastern, and northern boundaries of that borough and the production of the same to the middle of the Waikato River; thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of the Borough of Huntly; thence to and along the southern, eastern, and northern boundaries of the said borough and a production of the said northern boundary to the middle of the Waikato River; thence generally down the middle of that river so as to include within the said boundaries all islands in the said river to its confluence with the Whangamarino River, the place of commencement.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
WHANGAMARINO RIDING, COUNTY OF WAIKATO.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing in the middle of the Waikato River at its confluence with the Whangamarino River; thence in a north-easterly direction generally along the Waikato County Boundary to the Firth of Thames; thence in a southerly direction generally following the boundary between the Hauraki Plains and Waikato Counties along the confiscation boundary-line to Section 1, Block VIII, Wharekawa Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundary of Section 1 aforesaid, the
north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 2, Block VIII, Wharekawa Survey District, and the southern boundary of Section 1, Block II, Piako Survey District, to the confiscation boundary-line, and along that line to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 454, Whangamarino Parish, in Block XV, Piako Survey District; thence in a westerly direction generally following the Huntly Riding Boundary along the northern boundaries of Allotments 454, 453, 452, 451, 450, 449, 448, and 472 all of Whangamarino Parish, the western boundary of Allotment 472 aforesaid and the Matahuru Stream to a public road; thence along that road and its crossing to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 269, Whangamarino Parish; thence along the north-western boundary of Allotment 269 aforesaid, the north-eastern and northern boundaries of Allotment 441, Whangamarino Parish, the northern boundary of Section 1, Block I, Hapuakohe Survey District, the eastern and northern boundaries of Allotment 212, Whangamarino Parish, the crossing of a public road, and again Allotment 212 aforesaid to its north-western corner; thence along a right line across Waikare Lake and down the Onetea Stream to the middle of the Waikato River; thence in a northerly direction generally following the Waikato County Boundary down the Waikato River to the point of commencement.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Umutahi A Block, Block XIII, Ngaere Survey District, Taranaki Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section four hundred and seventy-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the said Act:
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the said Act:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 4 acres 1 rood 11·5 perches.
Being portion of Umutahi A Block.
Situated in Block XIII, Ngaere Survey District.
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2134, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2765, and thereon coloured pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of April, 1936.
