A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.

SCHEDULE.

Situated in Block VII, Waiwera Survey District (Auckland R.D.).

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of March, 1936.

Alteration of Boundaries, Christchurch Drainage District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1920, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be added to and form part of the Christchurch Drainage District; and, with the like powers and authorities, do hereby also declare that the said area shall be added to the Rural Heathcote Subdistrict of the said district.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 22·3 perches, more or less, and being Lot 4, Plan Number 5960, and Lot 6, Plan Number 7811, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Christchurch, and being part of Rural Section 73, situated in Block XV, Christchurch Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 348, folio 78, and Volume 445, folio 117, respectively ; also a part of Rural Section 54, situated in Block XV, Christchurch Survey District, being all the land contained in Certificates of Title, Volume 363, folio 102, and Volume 367, folio 171, Canterbury Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of March, 1936.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the fifteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, duly laid out as road-lines in pursuance of section four hundred and seventy-eight of the Native Land Act, 1931:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the said Act:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as public roads the road-lines described in the Schedule hereto.
