THAMES FISHERIES, LIMITED.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THAMES FISHERIES, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £30,000 to £10,000 was on the 5th day of February, 1936, presented to the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland and is now pending. A list of the persons admitted to have been creditors of the company on the said 5th day of February, 1936, may be inspected at the office of the company at Pollen Street, Thames, or at the office of Messrs. Miller, Poulgrain, and Garland, Pollen Street, Thames, Solicitors to the said company, or at the office of the Supreme Court, Waterloo Quadrant, in the City of Auckland, at any time during usual business hours: Any person who claims to have been on the last-mentioned day and still to be a creditor of the company and who is not entered on the said list and claims to be so entered, must, on or before the 4th day of April, 1936, send in his name and address and the nature and amount of his claim to the undersigned at Pollen Street, Thames, or in default thereof he will be excluded from the right of objecting to the proposed reduction of capital.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of members of this company held on the 27th day of February, 1936, they passed resolutions for the winding up of the company and my appointment as liquidator; also that a meeting of creditors held on the 28th day of February, 1936, confirmed my appointment.
A receiver is in possession.
Creditors are requested to send their claims to reach me not later than the 31st day of March, 1936, otherwise they might be excluded from participation in any dividend.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between GEORGE MACKAY SMITH and FREDERICK GEORGE EDWARDS, both of Dunedin, Vulcanizers, carrying on the business of tyre retreading, vulcanizing, and tyre and motor-part selling at Anzac Square, Dunedin, under the style or firm of “Electric Vulcanizing Co.,” has been dissolved as from the 7th day of March, 1936.
All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by George Mackay Smith, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style or firm of “Electric Vulcanizing Co.”

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL.
SPECIAL ORDER MAKING AND LEVYING A CONSOLIDATED SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 7 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act, 1934, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges, or, as the case may be, instalment of principal and interest, on the non-convertible securities issued by the Taranaki County Council, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes and levies a consolidated special rate upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the district; such rate shall be made and levied on a differential basis for each of the several ridings of the district as follows:—
“(a) On all rateable property in the Mangorei Riding, a special rate of twenty-nine one-hundredths of a penny (²⁹⁄₁₀₀d.) in the pound.
“(b) On all rateable property in the Waitara Riding, a special rate of eleven one-hundredths of a penny (¹¹⁄₁₀₀d.) in the pound.
“(c) On all rateable property in the Omata Riding, a special rate of fourteen one-hundredths of a penny (¹⁴⁄₁₀₀d.) in the pound.
“(d) On all rateable property in the Okato Riding, a special rate of forty-two one-hundredths of a penny (⁴²⁄₁₀₀d.) in the pound.
“Such special rate shall be in lieu of the special rates made over the several special rating districts in respect of the loans set out in the schedule hereto, and shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the 4th day of July in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 1st day of October, 1963, or until all such securities are fully paid off, and that this resolution take effect as from the 1st day of April, 1936.”
