Notice of Result of Poll.

Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Hawera taken on the 23rd day of December, 1935, on the proposal of the Hawera Borough Council to borrow the sum of £4,900 for the purpose of improving, relaying, duplicating, and extending the present sewer-drainage system within the Borough of Hawera, and providing and constructing additional manholes and other requisites—

Votes.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was . 186
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was.. 7

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
