SECOND SCHEDULE.

BORDERS OF THE WHITEHALL RABBIT DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 16,000 acres approximately, bounded by
a line commencing at the south-western corner of Lot 1 of
Section 13, Block X, Cambridge Survey District (Whitehall
Settlement); thence in a north-westerly direction by the
Waikato County along the confiscation boundary-line to
Trig. C, being the southernmost corner of Section 3, Block VI,
Cambridge Survey District; thence in a north-easterly
direction generally along the south-eastern boundaries of
Section 3 aforesaid, across a public road, Sections 3s, 76s,
across a public road, and 6s, all of Te Miro Settlement, and
Maungakawa Nos. B 1 and B 2 Blocks ; thence by the south-
western boundaries of Tawawhakaporo Block, Lots 7 and 8
on plan 17890, deposited in the office of the District Land
Registrar at Auckland, the south-eastern boundary of the
last-mentioned lot and its production to the middle of a public
road ; thence along the middle of that road to a point opposite
the westernmost corner of Section 3, Block IV, Cambridge
Survey District; thence by a right line and the generally
southern and the eastern boundary of Section 3 aforesaid,
the south-western boundaries of Lots 3 and 2 on plan 25216,
deposited as aforesaid, to the Mangapapa Stream ; thence in
a south-westerly direction generally up the Mangapapa
Stream and along the northern boundary of Section 136,
Matamata Settlement, the south-eastern, north-eastern, and
north-western boundaries of part Lot 2 on Deeds Plan C 37,
being part Hinuera No. 2 Block, to and across a public
road ; thence by that road, the south-western boundary of
Lot 12, and the north-western boundary of Lot 11, both on
Deeds Plan C 37 aforesaid, the north-eastern boundary of
Lot 10, and the north-eastern, north-western, and south-
western boundaries of Lot 8A, both on plan 2757, deposited
as aforesaid ; thence by a public road to a point in line with
the south-western boundary of Lot 1 of Section 3, Block
XI, Cambridge Survey District (Whitehall Settlement);
thence across that road and along the south-western boundary
of Lot 1 aforesaid, the north-western boundary of Lot 3 of
Section 3 aforesaid, the north-eastern boundary of Lot 4
of Section 3 aforesaid to and across a public road ; thence by
that road to a point opposite the south-eastern corner of Lot l
of Section 13, Block X, Cambridge Survey District (Whitehall
Settlement), across that road and along the southern boundary
of Lot 1 aforesaid to the point of commencement.


THIRD SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF THE PERIA RABBIT DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 25,000 acres approximately, in the Piako
and Matamata Counties, bounded by a line commencing
at a point in Block V, Tapapa Survey District, where the
southern boundary of Section 143, Matamata Settlement,
meets the Mangapapa Stream ; thence in a northerly direction
down the Mangapapa Stream to the north-eastern corner of
Te Tapui Block ; thence along the north-eastern boundaries
of Te Tapui Block, part Lot 17 on plan No. 17891, deposited
in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, the
eastern and generally southern boundary of Section 3, Block
IV, Cambridge Survey District, and a right line to a point
in the middle of a public road opposite the westernmost
corner of Section 3 aforesaid ; thence along the middle of
that road to a point in line with the north-western boundary
of Lot 22 on plan No. 17891 aforesaid ; thence along a right
line and the north-western boundary of Lot 22 aforesaid to
part Lot 43 on plan No. 2756, deposited as aforesaid ; thence
along the north-eastern boundaries generally of part Lot 43
aforesaid and part Lot 43 on plan 14557, deposited as afore-
said ; thence along the generally eastern boundaries of
Tawawhakaporo, Te Konehu, Kiwitahi Nos. 1F, 1E, 1D,
1C, 1B, and 1A Blocks, and the Piakonui Stream to the Kiwi-
tahi-Walton Road ; thence in an easterly direction generally
along the Kiwitahi-Walton Road and the Richmond Downs
Road to the Mangapapa River ; thence in a southerly direction
generally up the Mangapapa River and the Tukutahanga
Stream, along the northern and eastern boundaries of Sec-
tion 149, Matamata Settlement, Morgan's Road, and Matai
Road to the north-western corner of Lot 1 on plan 12941,
deposited as aforesaid, being portion of Section 115, Matamata
Settlement ; thence along the northern and eastern boundaries
of Lot 1 aforesaid, the eastern boundary of Lot 2 on plan 12941
aforesaid, to and across a public road, the eastern boundary
generally of Lot 3 of Section 117, Matamata Settlement, and
the eastern and southern boundaries of Lot 1 on plan No.
12602, deposited as aforesaid, being portion of Section 117,
Matamata Settlement, to Matai Road ; thence along Matai

Road and Buckland Road to the south-western corner of
Section 138, Matamata Settlement ; thence in a northerly
direction along the eastern boundary of Section 137A, Matamata
Settlement, and the northern boundaries of Sections 137A and
137, Matamata Settlement, to the point of commencement.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of
February, 1936.
Present:

THE HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section thirty of the Rabbit Nuisance
Act, 1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General
may, by Order in Council, on petition in that behalf signed
by a majority of the persons qualified to be enrolled on the
ratepayers' list for any proposed district, constitute and
declare any area of land of not less than one thousand acres
a rabbit district under and for the purposes of Part II of the
said Act :

And whereas, in pursuance of the provisions of the said
section thirty of the said Act, a petition has been received
praying that the area of land described in the Schedule
hereto be constituted and declared a rabbit district under
and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act, and it is deemed
expedient to give effect to the prayer of the petition
accordingly:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby constitute,
by the specific name of the "Pukeatua Rabbit District," and
declare that area of land defined in the Schedule hereto to be
a rabbit district under and for the purposes of Part II of the
said Act, and doth hereby further declare that the basis on
which the Board to be established for the said district shall
first levy its general rate shall be on the basis of the acreage
of the rateable property in the said district.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, in the counties
of Waipa and Otorohanga, bounded as follows : Commencing
at the south-western corner of Maungatautari No. 4H 8 Block,
situated in Block V, Maungatautari Survey District; thence
in an easterly direction generally following the boundary of
the Waikato Central Rabbit District (Gazette, 1932, page 2133),
along the southern boundaries of Maungatautari No. 4H 8
and No. 4G 2 Blocks, the eastern boundaries of Maungatau-
tari No. 4G 2 and No. 4C Blocks, and a right line to the Maunga-
tautari Trig. Station; thence in a south-easterly direction
along the Matamata County boundary to the Waiteti Stream;
thence in a southerly direction generally up the Waiteti
Strean, along the western boundaries of Sections 10A and 7A,
Tautari Settlement, the south-western boundary of Section 7A
aforesaid and its production to the Mangare Stream ; thence
down the Mangare Stream and up the Waikato River to the
northern boundary of Section 10, Block IV, Wharepapa
Survey District ; thence in a south-westerly direction gen-
erally along the Otorohanga County boundary to the Whatauri
Trig. Station at the northernmost corner of Section 2,
Block VI, Wharepapa Survey District ; thence along the
north-western boundary of Section 2 aforesaid to the Waipari
Stream ; thence in a north-westerly direction generally down
the Waipari Stream and the Puniu River to its intersection
by the Wharepapa Road in Block I, Wharepapa Survey
District ; thence in a north-easterly direction generally along
the Wharepapa and Aotearoa Roads to the Kaiwhio Stream ;
thence in a north-westerly direction generally down the
Kaiwhio and Owairaka Streams to the south-eastern corner of
Maungatautari No. 4B Block ; thence in a north-easterly
direction generally along the generally eastern boundary of
Maungatautari No. 4B Block, a public road, the eastern
boundaries of Maungatautari Nos. 5A 1A 2 and 5A 1B Blocks,
the Mangaohoi Stream, and the eastern boundaries generally
of Maungatautari No. 4E 1 Block, Puahue Nos. 2^ยฎ and
Section 16s, Puahue Settlement, to the point of commence-
ment; save and excepting the Maru Rabbit-proof Fencing
District (Gazette, 1921, page 3008, and Gazette, 1923, page 1060),
Waotu Rabbit-proof Fencing District (Gazette, 1921, page
3009), and Mangare Rabbit-proof Fencing District (Gazette,
1926, page 1218).
