Crown Land in the Wellington Land District set apart for
Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers
under Special Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart
and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to
discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner
provided in the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.

SECTION 28, Block X, Umutoi Survey District: Area,
260 acres 0 roods 32 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of
February, 1936.

Land set apart as an Endowment for Primary
Education.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
subsection nine of section twelve of the Land
Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the
date hereof the land comprised in the pieces of closed
road and land taken for the purposes of subsection ten of
the said section twelve described in the First Schedule hereto,
being land which is adjacent to the endowment for primary
education described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall
be deemed to be added to the said endowment.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing
by admeasurement 17 perches, 21·4 perches, 2 roods 4·2 perches,
2 roods 3·6 perches, and 8·7 perches, more or less, and being
respectively Sections 8R, 12R, 15R, 19 (formerly part Lot 4,
D.P. 2289), and 17R, Block XII, Puketapu Survey District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 16/1840c, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing
by admeasurement 107 acres 3 roods 25·1 perches, more or
less, being part Block 70 (E.R.), western side of harbour,
Block XII, Puketapu Survey District: Bounded towards
the north-east generally by Lot 1 on plan No. 2598, deposited
in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier, by
Lots 2 and 3 on plan No. 3094 as aforesaid, and by part
Block 4, Eskdale Crown Grant District, on plan No. 1768,
deposited as aforesaid, a distance of 1707·14 links; by
Section 8R, Block XII, Puketapu Survey District, 381·6 links;
by a public road 3655 links; by Section 12R, Block XII,
Puketapu Survey District, 499·7 links; again by a public
road 446 links; and by Section 15R, Block XII, Puketapu
Survey District, 722·9 links; towards the south-east by a
public road 1181·2 links; and by Section 17R, Block XII,
Puketapu Survey District, 215·6 links; towards the south-
west by Lot 2 on plan No. 451, deposited in the office of the
District Land Registrar at Napier, and by part Block 63,
western side of harbour, 4052·9 links; and towards the
north-west by Block 79, western side of harbour, 2574·7 links:

be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
16/1840d, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of
February, 1936.

District, Otago Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere
Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in
Town Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road:
15·8 perches.
Being portion of Section 39.
Situated in Block VII, Town Survey District. (S.O.
plan 55.)
In the Otago Land District: as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/504,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2760, and thereon coloured
red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of
February, 1936.

Crown Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto
as a provisional State forest.

SCHEDULE.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION
REGION.

ALL that area of Crown land in the Nelson Land District,
containing approximately 225 acres, situated in Block VI,
Inangahua Survey District, and bounded generally as follows:
Towards the north by Section 17, Block VI aforesaid; towards
the north-east and east by Crown land; towards the south-
west by a provisional State forest (Gazette, 1920, page 2110);
and towards the west by Section 5, Block VI aforesaid. As
the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 113/13,
deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of
February, 1936.
