WARKWORTH TOWN BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
———
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Warkworth Town Board Loans Conversion Order, 1935, the Warkworth Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Warkworth Town Board under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule of that Order, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges in respect of the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said Warkworth Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and nine sixty-fourths pence in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property in the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the fifteenth day of July in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 1st day of December, 1958, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly submitted to and passed at the ordinary monthly meeting of the Warkworth Town Board held at its offices, Library Buildings, Warkworth, on Monday, the 2nd day of December, 1935.

WAIROA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Wairoa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £8,300 authorized to be raised by the Wairoa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of increasing the storage capacity of the borough water-supply system by installing a service reservoir and settling-tank each of 350,000 gallons capacity and incidentals thereto (£6,500) and erecting buildings for Rest-room, Plunket Room, Health Clinics, &c. for women (£1,800) the said Wairoa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·8d. in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all the rateable property of the district comprising the whole of the Borough of Wairoa, and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Wairoa Borough Council at a meeting held on the 29th day of November, 1935.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Wairoa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £6,000 authorized to be raised by the Wairoa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of preparing and sealing approximately seven miles of streets in the borough, the said Wairoa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all the rateable property of the district comprising the whole of the Borough of Wairoa, and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Wairoa Borough Council at a meeting held on the 29th day of November, 1935.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held on the 4th day of December, 1935, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that HARRY JAMES MILLS, of Auckland, Accountant, be appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Leeston Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Leeston Town Board Renewal Loan, £3,450, 1935, authorized to be raised by the Leeston Town Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming the Leeston Board Loan of £4,000, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny (½d.) in the pound (£1) on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all the rateable property in the Leeston Town District, and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 16th day of September annually and in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
