LOWER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Lower Hutt Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1935.
I, JOHN WILLIAM ANDREWS, Mayor of the Borough of Lower Hutt, do hereby certify that pursuant to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, a resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Lower Hutt Borough Council held on the 11th day of November, 1935, and confirmed on the 25th day of November, 1935, providing for the issue under the said Act of new securities in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set forth in the First Schedule of the Lower Hutt Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1935, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 82 of the 7th day of November, 1935, at page 3082.

Notice is hereby given to the holders of debentures or other securities issued in respect of the above-mentioned loans that the Lower Hutt Borough Council intends to convert all such debentures or other securities (except those in respect of which dissent is duly signified) into new debentures having new maturity dates and bearing interest at 4¼ per cent. per annum. The conversion will take effect from 1st March, 1936.
Application for conversion must be made in writing and be accompanied by the securities to which it relates.
Dissent from the conversion of any existing debentures or other securities may be signified by the holder by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Lower Hutt, on or before the 15th day of March, 1936.
If notice of dissent from the conversion of any debentures or other securities is not received by that date the securities will be converted.
The rate of interest on any debentures or other securities in respect of which dissent is signified as aforesaid will, by virtue of section 18 of the above-mentioned Act, be reduced to two-thirds of the original rate as from the 1st March, 1936.
Further particulars as to the new debentures and the conversion generally may be obtained from the Town Clerk, Lower Hutt.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership hereinbefore subsisting between me the undersigned JOHN CHRISTIE, of Manaia, Farmer, on the one hand, and us the undersigned WILLIAM McL’DOWIE, of Matapu, Farmer, JOHN AUBREY STEVENSON, of Manaia, Farmer, and CLEMENT GEORGE TROTTER, of Hawera, Company-manager, as trustees of the late James Francis Stevenson, of Manaia, Farmer, deceased, on the other hand, carrying on business as farmers at Manaia Road, Kapuni, under the style or firm of “Christie and Stevenson,” was on the thirtieth day of November, 1935, dissolved by mutual consent.

WYNSEL TIMBER COMPANY, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of creditors of the Wynsel Timber Company, Limited, will be held at the Chamber of Commerce, Swanson Street, Auckland, on Friday, the 20th day of December, 1935, at 10.45 o’clock in the forenoon (following an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the company to be held at 10 a.m. on the same day), for the purpose of considering the following resolutions which are to be proposed at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1933, and that Mr. MAURICE VINCENT BATES, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of winding up.”

I HEREBY give notice that by an order of the Supreme Court, Hamilton, dated the 4th day of December, 1935, I was appointed administrator of the estate of the above-named Edward Pask, and I hereby call a meeting of creditors to be held at the Courthouse, Te Kuiti, on Monday, the 16th December, 1935, at 10 a.m.
All claims against the above estate must be lodged with me on or before the 4th February, 1936.
