Advertisement of cancelling.
N OTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act, 1909, by writing under his hand dated this twenty-second day of October, 1935, cancelled the registry of Moana Rebekah Lodge, No. 10, of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of New Zealand, Friendly Society (Register No. 140/82), held at Riverton, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

SHANNON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Shannon Borough Loans Conversion Order (No. 1), the Shannon Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect of the new securities authorized to be issued by the Shannon Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, and also the instalments of principal and interest in respect of such loans, the said Shannon Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable half-yearly on the fourth day of May and the fourth day of November in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the fourth day of November, 1965, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”

I, THEODORE OSCAR MOREL, Chairman of the Murchison County Council, hereby certify that in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Murchison County Loans Conversion Order, 1935 (No. 1), the Murchison County Council at a special meeting of such Council held on the 26th day of September, 1935, duly passed a resolution to convert the securities mentioned in the said Order, and that such resolution was duly confirmed at a special meeting of such Council held on the 11th day of October, 1935.

N OTICE is hereby given that by an order of the Supreme Court made at Wellington on Tuesday, the 22nd day of October, 1935, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £250,000 to £64,937 10s., and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above-mentioned statute, were registered by the Registrar of Companies at Wellington on the 24th day of October, 1935; and further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following:—
“The capital of Meyers (N.Z.), Limited, is £64,937 10s., divided into 103,900 ordinary shares of 12s. 6d. each, instead of £250,000 divided into 250,000 shares of £1 each. At the date of registration of this minute each share is to be deemed to be fully paid up.”

P URSUANT to the Trustee Act, 1925, notice is hereby given that all creditors and other persons having any claims or demands against the estate of Godfrey Addis Simmonds, late of 138 Leadenhall Street, in the City of London, and 23 First Avenue, Hove, in the County of Sussex, who died on the 24th day of June, 1935, and whose will was proved at the Principal Probate Registry on the 2nd day of September, 1935, by the Public Trustee of the Public Trustee Office, Kingsway, W.C. 2, the executor named in the said will, are hereby required to send the particulars in writing of their claims and demands to the undersigned solicitors for the said executor on or before the 31st day of December, 1935, after which date the said executor will proceed to distribute the assets of the said deceased amongst the persons entitled thereto, having regard only to the claims and demands of which he shall then have had notice and will not be liable for the assets of the deceased or any part thereof so distributed to any persons of whose claims or demands he shall not then have had notice.
