T. J. EDMONDS, LIMITED.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

N OTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of T. J. Edmonds, Limited, held at the registered office of the company, Ferry Road, Christchurch, on the 5th day of August, 1935, the following special resolution was unanimously passed :

“ That it is desirable to reconstruct the company and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that JAMES AINGER, of Christchurch, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”

MEMORANDUM.—The liquidation referred to is in pursuance of an internally arranged plan of reconstruction. A new company has already been incorporated as from the 6th day of August, 1935, under the same name of T. J. Edmonds, Limited, and with exactly the same shareholders as the old company. The new company has taken over the assets and liabilities of the old company and will carry on the business as before.


HUNTERVILLE TOWN BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Hunterville Town Board Loans Conversion Order, 1934, the Hunterville Town Board hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Hunterville Town Board under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing debentures or other securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, the said Hunterville Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence and one-tenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Hunterville Town District comprising the whole of the Hunterville Town District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable on such day or days in each annual rating period as general rates shall from time to time be made payable until the maturity date of the last of such securities, being the first day of April, 1958, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed by the Hunterville Town Board and embodied in the minutes of the proceedings of the said Board of the 14th day of June, 1935.

THE DANNEVIRKE DRAPERY SUPPLY COMPANY, LIMITED.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933.

N OTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Dannevirke Drapery Supply Company, Limited, will be held on Friday, the 23rd day of August, 1935, at which a resolution for voluntary winding-up is to be proposed : And that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at Dannevirke, in the office of Messrs. Webley and Ruby, Public Accountants, on Friday, the 23rd day of August, at 2.30 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company's affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

Locality of the race, and of its starting and terminal points ; also description of land traversed—e.g., unalienated Crown land, private land, or otherwise : Situate in Block VII, Mawheranui Survey District, commencing at a peg marked X approximately 5 chains west of where the southern boundary of Special Claim G. 143 crosses Larkin's Race, thence extending first westerly, thence south-easterly to Wards Gully a distance of 85 chains, as shown on sketch plan filed herewith and being part of an old race known as Larkin's Race.

Length and intended course of race : 85 chains westerly and south-easterly.

Points of intake : To be used for conveying water from drainage area applied for under Application No. 99/35, commencing 5 chains west of southern boundary of Special Claim G. 143.

Estimated time and cost of construction : Already constructed, but will take one month at cost of £20 to clean out and repair.

Mean depth and breadth : 2 ft. by 2 ft.
Number of heads to be diverted : Ten heads.
Purpose for which water is to be used : Mining.
Proposed term of license : Twenty-one years.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between CECIL GEORGE TAPP, ALBERT JAMES THOMAS TAPP, CALEB ROLAN TAPP, and KENNETH SNOWSHAUL TAPP, in the business of farmers carried on by them at Waikokowai and Renown has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 2nd day of August, 1935.
