DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned JOHN HOLLOWAY and FRANK HOLLOWAY, carrying on business as Merchants and Licensed Dealers at 126 Tay Street, Invercargill, under the style or firm of “Holloway Bros.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 27th day of December, 1934, so far as concerns the said Frank Holloway who retires from the said firm.
All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the above-named John Holloway who will continue to carry on the said business at 126 Tay Street, Invercargill.

PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1926, the undersigned James Reid Bell, of Dunedin, Traveller, hereby applies for a license for a water-race, as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.

Date and number of miner’s right : 16/4/35 ; No. 59082.

Locality of the race, and of its starting and terminal points ; also description of land traversed—e.g., unalienated Crown land, private land, or otherwise : Commencing on Section 11, Block XII, Rock and Pillar District, in the right-hand branch of Fillyburn Creek about one mile above junction of three branches of said creek, taking therefrom three heads of water, and running thence in south-westerly direction to the middle branch of Fillyburn Creek and taking therefrom three heads of water, thence running westerly to left branch of Fillyburn Creek, taking therefrom one head of water, thence running in a north-westerly direction through Section 11, Block XII, and Sections 4 and 5, Block XI, Rock and Pillar District, terminating on Section 5, Block XI, Rock and Pillar District, all the water to be so diverted being part of the water granted to the applicant under License No. 5309.
Length and intended course of race : Three miles.
Points of intake : Three.
Estimated time and cost of construction : One month ; £400.
Mean depth and breadth : 1 ft. by 3 ft.
Number of heads to be diverted : Seven.
Purpose for which water is to be used : Mining.
Proposed term of license : Twenty-one years.
