I, ALFRED IBBOTSON, General Manager of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, do solemnly and sincerely declare:—
- That the liability of the members is limited.
- That the capital of the company is £106,250, divided into 25,000 shares of £4 5s.
- That the number of shares issued is 25,000.
- That calls to the amount of 18s. (eighteen shillings) per share have been made under which the sum of £22,500 has been received.
- That the amount of moneys received on account of Estates under Administration during the half-year ended 30th April, 1935, is £297,251 2s. 7d.
- That the amount of all moneys paid on account of Estates under Administration during the half-year ended 30th April, 1935, is £287,013 16s. 7d.
- That the amount of the balance held to the credit of Estates under Administration during the half-year ended 30th April, 1935, is £72,861 0s. 8d.
- That the liabilities of the company on the 1st day of May, 1934, were debts owing to sundry persons by the company—viz.: On judgment, nil; on specialty, nil; on notes or bills, nil; on simple contracts, £178,392 0s. 5d.; on estimated liabilities, nil.
- That the assets of the company on that date were: Government securities, £10,880; other securities, £179,996; bills of exchange and promissory notes, nil; cash on deposit, £23,095 18s. 3d.; cash at bank, £19,934 19s. 5d.
And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

TAKAPUNA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
I, JOHN GUINIVEN, Mayor of the Borough of Takapuna, do hereby certify that pursuant to section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, the Takapuna Borough Council did at a special meeting held on the twenty-seventh day of May, 1935, resolve to convert to an interest rate of 4¼ per cent. per annum the loans set forth in the First Schedule of the Takapuna Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1935, as published in the New Zealand Gazette on the thirtieth day of May, 1935, and that such resolution was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the Takapuna Borough Council held on the eleventh day of June, 1935.

Notice is hereby given to the holders of debentures or other securities issued in respect of the above-mentioned loans that the Takapuna Borough Council intends to convert all such debentures or other securities (except those in respect of which dissent is duly signified) into new debentures having new maturity dates and bearing interest at 4¼ per cent. per annum.
The conversion will take effect from 1st July, 1935.
Application for conversion must be made in writing and be accompanied by the securities to which it relates.
Dissent from the conversion of any existing debentures or other securities may be signified by the holder by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Takapuna Borough Council. P.O. Box 4, Takapuna, N. 2, on or before the 15th day of July, 1935.
If notice of dissent from the conversion of any debentures or other securities is not received by that date the securities will be converted.
The rate of interest on any debentures or other securities in respect of which dissent is signified as aforesaid will, by virtue of section 18 of the above-mentioned Act, be reduced to two-thirds of the original rate as from the 1st day of July, 1935.
Further particulars as to the new debentures and the conversion generally may be obtained from the Town Clerk, Takapuna Borough Council, P.O. Box 4, Takapuna, N. 2.
