James Stanley Hunter, Esquire,

to be Commissioner of Unemployment as provided by section 25 (1) of the Unemployment Amendment Act, 1931, and Secretary of Labour for the purposes of the Labour Department Act, 1908, Chief Inspector of Factories for the purposes of the Factories Act, 1921–22, Registrar for the purposes of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, and Registrar of Apprentices for the purposes of the Apprentices Act, 1923, as from the 1st day of June, 1935.

George Crosbie Godfrey, Esquire,

to be Commissioner of Transport for the purposes of the Transport Department Act, 1929, as from the 1st day of June, 1935.

Geoffrey Charles Gordon,

to be Deputy Registrar at Nelson of the Supreme Court of New Zealand for the purposes of the Judicature Act, 1908, Assistant Clerk of the Magistrates' Court at Nelson for the purposes of the Magistrates' Courts Act, 1928, and Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at Nelson, as from the 1st day of June, 1935.

Frank William Hempleman,

to be Resident Agent, Deputy Registrar of the High Court, Postmaster, Deputy Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, and Schoolmaster at Atiu, as from the 8th day of May, 1935.

Frederick Stoop,

to be Clerk of the Magistrates' Court at Oamaru for the purposes of the Magistrates' Courts Act, 1928, and Clerk of the Warden's Court, Receiver of Gold Revenue, and Mining Registrar at Oamaru for the Otago Mining District constituted under the Mining Act, 1928, as from the 10th day of June, 1935.
