Regulations under the Air Navigation Act, 1931.—Amendments
No. 2.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of
April, 1935.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Air Navigation Act, 1931, I, Sir
Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend in the manner
and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the Air
Navigation Regulations published in the New Zealand Gazette
dated the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-three, and I do also declare that the amendment hereby
made shall take effect on and after the first day of April, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.

SCHEDULE.

(1) Paragraph 11 (2), page 5, after the word “Government,”
insert the words “or the Government of Great Britain or any
other British Dominion.”

(2) Paragraph 4 (a) of Schedule VI, page 42: Add foot-
note:—

“Provided that the fee for flying test will not be charged
in respect of male members of approved aero clubs qualifying
for Pilot ‘A’ Licenses who are between the ages of 17 and
30 years and who produce a certificate of medical fitness on
the prescribed form.”

Variation of Order in Council prohibiting Alienation of Native
Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of
April, 1935.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL.

PURSUANT to section four hundred and forty-two of
the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Adminis-
trator of the Government, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby vary
an Order in Council made on the seventh day of March,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published
in the Gazette on the tenth day of March, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty-two, at page 478, and affecting Waewae-
tutuki Section 1 and other blocks by excluding therefrom
the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Applying Trustee Companies Protection Act, 1934–35, to
Trustees, Executors, and Agency Company of New Zealand,
Limited.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of
April, 1935.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section three of the Trustee Companies
Protection Act, 1934–35 (hereinafter referred to as
“the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General
may by Order in Council apply the said Act to any trustee
company specified in such Order, and it is further provided
by the said section that no such Order in Council shall be
issued except pursuant to a resolution passed by the Board of
Directors of that trustee company and transmitted to the
Minister of Finance;

And whereas the Board of Directors of the Trustees,
Executors, and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited
(being a trustee company within the meaning of the said Act),
did on the ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-five, pass a resolution requesting the issue of an
Order in Council applying the provisions of the said Act to
such company, and a sealed copy of such resolution has been
transmitted to the Minister of Finance:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act and
of all other powers and authorities in that behalf him
enabling, and acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
apply the said Act to the Trustees, Executors, and Agency
Company of New Zealand, Limited, and doth declare that
this Order in Council shall come into force on the seventeenth
day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.

PURSUANT to section sixty-five of the Cook Islands Act, 1915,
and to an Order in Council made thereunder on the twenty-
first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, His Excellency
the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand
doth hereby appoint

Atama, of Rakahanga,

to be a member of the Island Council of Rakahanga during his pleasure
as from the date hereof, in lieu of Tuatai (deceased).

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government, this 9th day of April, 1935.
