Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—WELLINGTON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

Part of Erua Plantation.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres 3 roods 2 perches, more or less, and being Section 20, Block VIII, Manganui Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 62/29, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of April, 1935.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 23 perches, more or less, and being Section 22, Block XI, Kaeo Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 5/14, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plan S.O. 27151.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of April, 1935.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Sir Michael Myers, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,235 acres, more or less, and being Section 1, Block VI, Tatua Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 46/21, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 27900.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of April, 1935.

Cook Islands Treasury Regulations Amendment, 1935.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of April, 1935.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section thirty-four of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and of every other authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby amend the Cook Islands Treasury Regulations, 1916, in the manner herein set forth.

REGULATIONS.

  1. These regulations may be cited as the Cook Islands Treasury Regulations Amendment, 1935, and shall be read together with and form part of the Cook Islands Treasury Regulations, 1916 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”).

  2. Clause 7 (3) of the principal regulations, as amended by the Cook Islands Treasury Regulations Amendment, 1932, is hereby further amended by adding after the words “Treasurer of Rarotonga” the words “or other officer appointed by the Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga
