National-endowment Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Sir Michael Myers, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the national-endowment land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WESTLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL those areas of national-endowment land in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,446 acres, more or less, and described as follows:—
All that area containing by admeasurement 1,380 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks VII and XI, Ahaura Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the eastern boundary of the said Block XI with the north-eastern boundary of Section 31; thence westerly along the north-eastern, northern, and north-western boundaries of the said section and the said north-western boundary produced to the right bank of the Ahaura River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 1 produced easterly; thence westerly to and along the said boundary and the said boundary produced westerly to the right bank of the Ahaura River; thence northerly and westerly along the right bank of the Ahaura River to the eastern boundary of Reserve 1738 (provisional State forest, Gazette, 1930, page 3127); thence along the eastern boundary of the said reserve to the southern side of the Ahaura-Kopara Road; thence along the southern side of the said road to the north-eastern corner of Section 3246; thence across the said road to the south-eastern corner of Section 3102; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 3102 and the eastern boundary produced to the south-western boundary of Reserve 1694 (provisional State forest, Gazette, 1919, page 1283); thence south-easterly along the said boundary of Reserve 1694 to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Block VII, Ahaura Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Blocks VII and XI, Ahaura Survey District, to the commencing-point; save and excepting all internal roads and reserves.
Also all that area situated in Block XI, Ahaura Survey District, containing by admeasurement 66 acres, more or less, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the eastern boundary of Block XI, Ahaura Survey District, with the south-eastern boundary of Section 31; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Block XI aforesaid to the right bank of the Ahaura River; thence westerly and northerly along the said right bank to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary produced of Section 31; thence to and along the said boundary to the commencing-point.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan 120/18, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of April, 1935.

SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing approximately 80 acres, situated in Block XII, Mawheraiti Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by Section 14, Block XII aforesaid; towards the east by Blackwater Creek and Martin’s Creek; and towards the south and west by a provisional State forest (Gazette, 1920, page 2112). As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 120/17, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of April, 1935.
