APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE FOR A WATER-RACE.

To the Warden of the Westland Mining District, at Ahaura.

Pursuant to the Mining Act, 1926, the undersigned
Nelson Creek Sawmill, Limited, a company duly
incorporated having its registered office on the Nelson Creek—
Bell Hill Road, and carrying on business as a sawmiller,
hereby applies for a license for a water-race, as specified in
the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked
out for the purpose.
Mark on pegs: A.
Precise time of marking out privilege applied for: 2.30 p.m.,
30/3/35.
Date and number of miner’s right: Antedated 28/11/34,
dated 5/12/34; No. 57591.
Address for service: Office of Guinness and Kitchingham,
Solicitors, Guinness Street, Greymouth.
Dated at Greymouth, this 1st day of April, 1935.

SCHEDULE.

Locality of the race, and of its starting and terminal points;
also description of land traversed—e.g., unalienated Crown
land, private land, or otherwise: Block IX, Ahaura Survey
District, commencing at a point on the eastern bank of Potts
Creek 30 chains south of the point where such creek crosses
the Taramakau—Grey Valley Road; running thence in a
northerly direction a distance of 20 chains; thence in a north-
westerly direction a distance of 20 chains to the terminal
point in Section 2812, about 2 chains north of the Taramakau—
Grey Valley Road and 5 chains south-east of the point where
the cross-road through Section 2812 intersects such
Taramakau—Grey Valley Road, and being part of said
Section 2812, held by George Albert Fisher under Regulation
License.
Length and intended course of race: 40 chains northerly
and north-westerly.
Points of intake: One, commencing-point.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Two months;
£50.
Mean depth and breadth: 1 ft. by 1 ft.
Number of heads to be diverted: Two heads.
Purpose for which water is to be used: Sawmilling.
Proposed term of license: Twenty-one years.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY.

Notice is hereby given that N.I.M.U. Mutual Insurance
Co. has changed its name to N.I.M.U. Insurance
Company, and that the new name was this day entered on
my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

THE GUARDIAN, TRUST, AND EXECUTORS COMPANY
OF NEW ZEALAND, LIMITED.

I, RICHARD FROUDE WARD, Manager of the Guardian,
Trust, and Executors Company of New Zealand,
Limited, do solemnly and sincerely declare:—

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.
  2. That the capital of the company is £100,000, divided
    into 20,000 shares of £5 each.
  3. That the number of shares issued is 20,000.
  4. That calls to the amount of five pounds (£5) per share
    have been made, under which the sum of £100,000 has been
    received.
  5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of
    estates on the 1st day of January last is £11,367,676 6s. 8d.
  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of
    estates on that day is £11,351,244 3s. 8d.
  7. That the amount of the balances due to estates under
    administration on that day is £16,432 3s.
  8. That the liabilities of the company as on the 1st day of
    January last were £1,215 4s. 4d.
  9. That the assets of the company on that day were
    £118,957 1s. 3d.
  10. That the first annual license was issued on the 10th
    day of March, 1911.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believ-
ing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an
Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the
Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and N.Z.
AGENCIES, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

Notice is hereby given that at a meeting of creditors of
N.Z. Agencies, Limited, of Union Buildings, Customs
Street, Auckland, a resolution was approved and confirmed as
follows:—

“Resolved that this company cannot by reason of its
liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to
wind up same, and that accordingly this company be wound
up voluntarily, and that REGINALD WAUCHOP LOCK, of
Auckland, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed as
liquidator.”

All creditors are required to render proof of their claims at
the office of the liquidator, R. W. Lock, Public Accountant,
304 Dilworth Buildings, Auckland, on or before 30th April,
1935, otherwise they may be excluded from the benefits of any
distributions made before proof of their claim.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

Notice is hereby given that the partnership hitherto
subsisting between HENRY JOHN BULL, of Napier,
Timber-merchant, and ISABELLA EMILY ANN BULL, of Napier,
Widow, under the style or firm of “Bull Brothers” in the
business of Builders, Contractors, and Timber-merchants at
Napier, and the businesses of Sawmillers and Sheep-farmers at
Hendley, Patoka, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay,
has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of
January, 1935. The businesses aforesaid will continue to be
carried on under the same firm name by the said Henry John
Bull alone by whom all the assets thereof have been acquired
and all the liabilities thereof will be liquidated.
Dated at Napier, this 5th day of April, 1935.
