Appointments in the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy.

HIS Excellency the Administrator of the Government
has been pleased to approve the following appointments in the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy:-
Rear-Admiral Fischer Burges Watson, D.S.O., to H.M.S. "Dunedin," in command as Commodore, 2nd Class, on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment, as Commodore Commanding New Zealand Station and Naval Forces and as First Naval Member of the New Zealand Naval Board.
Captain Llewellyn Vaughan Morgan, M.V.O., D.S.C., A.D.C., Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin," additional on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment, as Second Naval Member of the New Zealand Naval Board.
Commander Reginald Frederick Nichols, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" (N) on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment, as Squadron (N) Officer and as Staff Officer (Operations) to the Commodore Commanding New Zealand Station.
Surgeon Commander Roger Buddle, O.B.E., Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment, as Squadron Medical Officer, and for duty in H.M.S. "Philomel." To resume appointment as Medical Officer, H.M.S. "Philomel," on Surgeon Commander McRorie joining H.M.S. "Dunedin."
Paymaster Commander Richard Francis Durman, O.B.E., Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin," additional on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment, as Secretary to the Commodore Commanding New Zealand Station, and as Naval Secretary to the New Zealand Naval Board.
Lieutenant-Commander Gilbert St. Aubyn Alcock, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin," additional on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment, as Staff Officer (Operations and Intelligence), Wellington.
Lieutenant-Commander Edward William Jervis Bankes, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" (S) on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment, and as Squadron (S) and W/T Officer.
Paymaster Lieutenant-Commander Wilfred Graham Hewson, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin," additional on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment, for duty at Navy Office, Wellington.
Lieutenant Terence Desmond Herrick, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment.
Lieutenant Trevor Henry Garwood, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935.
Lieutenant (E) Theodore Gordon Bluett Winch, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment.
Paymaster Lieutenant John Michael Hogan, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment, and as Assistant Secretary to the Commodore Commanding New Zealand Station.
Paymaster Lieutenant Peter Weekes, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment.
Sub-Lieutenant David Grenville Clutterbuck, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935.
Commissioned Writer Herbert Russell Sleeman, N.Z.N.F., to H.M.S. "Dunedin," additional on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment, for duty at Navy Office, Wellington.
Gunner (T) Henry Francis Cole, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935.
Gunner Eric James Watts, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" (and for D.F. duties) on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment.
Gunner Frank Leslie Macdonald, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935.
Warrant Shipwright Stanley Herbert Tozer, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment.
Warrant Engineer Albert Hemingway, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935.
Warrant Engineer James Henry Longman, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin" on recommissioning, to date 15th March, 1935, in continuation of present appointment.
Schoolmaster Bernard Piper, Royal Navy, to H.M.S. "Dunedin," to date 21st February, 1935, and on recommissioning.

IT is hereby notified for general information that under the Summer Time Act, 1929, and Summer Time Amendment Act, 1933, summer time which commenced at 2 o'clock in the morning of Sunday, the 30th September, 1934, ends at 2 o'clock New Zealand standard time in the morning of Sunday, the 28th April, 1935.
The time will therefore be put back 30 minutes as from 2 a.m. New Zealand standard time on Sunday, the 28th April, 1935.
