Pursuant to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Sir Michael Myers, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that Frank Mitchell Whyte, being an officer in the service of the Crown holding the office of District Public Trustee at Masterton, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this 3rd day of April, 1935.

Captain J. A. M. Clachan, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Area Officer, Area 4B, dated 28th March, 1935, and is appointed Area Officer, Area 4A, Hamilton, in addition to his appointment of Adjutant, The Waikato Mounted Rifles, dated 29th March, 1935.
Lieutenant B. Wicksteed, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Area Officer, Area 4A, dated 28th March, 1935, and is appointed Area Officer, Area 4B, Hamilton, in addition to his appointment of Adjutant, 1st Battalion, The Waikato Regiment, dated 29th March, 1935.
THE NELSON-MARLBOROUGH MOUNTED RIFLES.

THE SOUTHLAND REGIMENT.
Kenneth Edendale McKinnon to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) and is posted to the 1st Cadet Battalion. Dated 1st February, 1935.
N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.
Captain R. F. T. Grace, M.D., M.R.C.P. Lond. ceases to be attached to Wing Headquarters, N.Z. Air Force, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Central Command. Dated 3rd April, 1935.
Captain W. M. Brown, M.B., M.R.C.S. Eng., L.R.C.P. Lond., ceases to be attached to the Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Southern Command. Dated 20th March, 1935.
Alastair Gordon Couston, L.R.C.P. Edin., L.R.F.P. & S. Edin., to be Lieutenant, and is attached to the Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry. Dated 21st March, 1935.
With reference to the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 83, dated 15th November, 1934, relative to the appointment of Lieutenant A. L. Young, M.B., F.R.C.S. Edin., his commission is antedated to 1st April, 1934.
