Classification of Road in Waimate County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Waimate County Council's proposed classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto and situated in Waimate County.
SCHEDULE.
WAIMATE COUNTY.
ROAD classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 10 tons:—

HIS Excellency the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to appoint The Courthouse, Palmerston, to be a place wherein a Magistrates' Court shall be held, in lieu of the place previously appointed.

Consenting to the Sale by the Otago Electric-power Board of certain Land in accordance with the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 92 of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of every other power in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, John Bitchener, Minister of Public Works, do hereby consent to the sale by the Otago Electric-power Board of the land hereinafter described, such land being no longer required for the electric works for which it was acquired. The said land is described as Lot 36 of part Lots 58 and 59 of the Borough of Balclutha.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee.
NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921-22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Daniel Scannell, of the Public Trust Office, Auckland, to be Deputy of the District Public Trustee, Auckland, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous warrants appointing any Deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.

Rangitoto Channel: Rough Rock Beacon.
Position: Lat. 36° 49' S., long. 174° 49' E. (approx.).
Details: Rough Rock Beacon has been knocked over and temporarily replaced by a conical buoy with black and white horizontal stripes. Further notice will be given when the beacon has been re-erected.

Napier: Breakwater Harbour.
Position: 336° about 450 yards from green light on Glasgow Wharf.
Details: A patch recently discovered in the above position has been removed and now carries 19 ft. at M.L.W.S. The line of beacons has been swept for 100 ft. on each side. The least depth on the line of beacons is 19 ft. M.L.W.S.
