Plants declared to be Noxious Weeds in the Borough of Hawera.—
(Notice No. Ag. 3273.)

THE following special order made by the Hawera Borough
Council on 18th March, 1935, is published in accordance
with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1923.

SPECIAL ORDER.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the
Noxious Weeds Act, 1923, and its amendments, the Hawera
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: “That hemlock
and gorse be declared noxious weeds within the Borough of
Hawera.”

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block III, Rotoiti Survey
District, for Quarry Purposes and for the Purposes of a
Roadman’s Paddock respectively.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the
land described in the First Schedule hereto for quarry purposes,
and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the
purposes of a roadman’s paddock: And notice is hereby
further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken
is deposited in the post-office at Okere Falls, and is there open
for inspection, and that all persons affected by the taking of
the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections
to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing and
send such writing, within forty days from the first publication
of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

All situated in Block III, Rotoiti Survey District (Auckland
R.D.).

All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as
above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of
Public Works at Wellington.
